Our Story
We lease our space from the Glenwood Moravian Community Church, located at 725 Gilmore Street next to Wingra School just off Monroe street in Madison Wisconsin. Founded in 1975 as a preschool environment for parents and children to come, learn and play, the Co-Op Playgroup is a non-profit organization run by a volunteer board.

The Co-Op is a place for parents and caregivers to meet, support each other and spend time together while participating in their young children's play and socialization. Our goal is to foster creativity, physical development, and socialization in a safe, loving, and stimulating environment.

FAQS
Q: Do most families stay for the entire time?
No. Most come when it is convenient for them and leave when they need to. Since there are 4-8 families in each session there is always someone there to play with!

Q: Do I have to stay with my child or can I drop him/her off?
A parent/guardian must stay with your child the entire time.

Q: Is it OK for my nanny/grandparent/etc. to come with my child?
Yes, as long as there is an adult there to supervise your child. However, the attending caregiver should be aware of the rules and regulations of the group. Furthermore, to ensure some kind of continuity and community building, we encourage that the same person attends most of the time.
